Recently, in some media reports, online communities, and social media, matters related to the family of an artist under BLISSOO have been spreading. We express serious concern that indiscriminate acts of defamation are occurring by linking the artist and BLISSOO to this matter or by spreading information that differs from the facts. First, the matter currently being raised is completely unrelated to the artist and BLISSOO. Much of the content being circulated online consists of unverified speculation or clearly false information. The artist began trainee life at a young age and became independent early, living apart from their family for a long time. Therefore, they are in a situation where they are not aware of, nor involved in the personal matters of the person concerned.”

In addition, while it is true that during the preparation process for establishing BLISSOO, the artist received limited assistance through communication relayed by family members in order to coordinate discussions with relevant parties, there has never been any instance of family members receiving compensation from BLISSOO or participating in decision-making. Since then, the company has been operated completely independently without any involvement from family members. In particular, claims circulating in some media and online stating that “the individual co-founded the company with the artist” or that “the individual is an executive or CEO of BLISSOO” are entirely false. We clearly state that the individual currently has no legal or managerial relationship with BLISSOO whatsoever. Furthermore, BLISSOO and the artist are not providing any financial or legal support to the individual, nor do they plan to do so in the future. They also have no interaction or involvement in this matter. Nevertheless, the continued spread of false information or the use of the artist’s name, image, or likeness in unrelated matters constitutes a clear violation of rights and defamation.
