🦊 Wild Forest – New Balance Patch 🦊 A stat update that directly impacts gameplay. Here’s a breakdown of all the adjustments to units and buildings and how they affect your matches. 💥 Why is this patch important? On May 19, a new stat balance went live, adjusting the damage, HP, and mana cost of several key units and structures. These changes redefine which decks dominate and what compositions become viable. Unit Changes (Units Balance): 💀Skeleton: +5% Damage and +5% HP. A direct buff to a common unit that scales well in numbers. Now more viable as an early swarm option. 🐲Burner: +5% Damage and +5% HP. A solid boost that positions it better as a consistent frontline attacker. It can now withstand more hits and apply stronger lane pressure. 🚁Gunship: Mana cost: 18 → 20 HP: -5% A direct nerf to one of the strongest long-range units. It’ll be harder to spam and easier to eliminate if left unprotected. 🧙‍♀️Witch: Poison damage calculation has been fixed. It now deals exactly 25% of the base damage, based on level and rarity. This improves damage transparency and makes it easier to predict its impact. 🔥Pyromancer: Mana cost 6 → 5 A key buff. It now cycles faster and allows for more aggressive or defensive setups thanks to its area damage. 💣 Bomb: Mana cost: 12 → 13 A slight but meaningful nerf. One extra mana can slow down fast-paced combo plays with this type of unit. Building Changes (Buildings Balance): 🏯Main Base: +25% Damage and +25% HP This change gives more weight to base defense. Matches might last longer if you can’t close them properly, and now your base can eliminate weaker units on its own. What does all this mean for you as a player? 🔹Fast, low-cost compositions gain strength (Skeletons, Pyromancer). 🔹Heavy units like Gunship now require more thoughtful strategies. 🔹Base damage is more relevant: if you defend well, your base does more of the work 🔹Area damage cards (like Pyromancer) increase in value with lower cost. 🔹Balanced decks are rewarded, and costly unit spam gets punished. 📌Tips to adapt to the new meta 🔹Reevaluate your deck: 1 mana more or less changes everything in such short matches. 🔹Try new combos with Skeletons now tankier and more dangerous. 🔹If you use Gunship, think about protecting it better or saving it for key moments. 🔹Manage your mana economy: are you spending too much on expensive combos? 🗣️ My take as a creator I love that the Wild Forest team is constantly adjusting the balance.
