The NFL refusing to investigate the Patriots right now is a direct result of Roger Goodell's relationship with Bob Kraft.

@RealMamaEagle She quit because she was going to be fired NE tried to stop the story because it makes their head coach look bad for cheating on his wife

@KellyGreenHour You don’t think some reporters have closer relationships with other coaches/GMs and give them a little more information than others? Come on

@DutchPickle23 Unfortunate reality is we'll never know for sure if their closeness impacted how Russini had constant & consistent "AFC sources" pushing the Pats & Browns story. Athletic started to investigate... Russini "resigned". NFL wouldn't open any sort of investigation v. Vrabel/Pats.

@KellyGreenHour So because they are close, how does this help the pats get brown?

@DutchPickle23 Conflict of interest... MAJORLY! A prominent NFL "Insider" should not be this close to an NFL Head Coach. Such a major hit from an integrity perspective for the league & media. Obviously the "Insider" quit before a full investigation by her employer could happen.

What do you mean insiders are still reporting on a potential AJ Brown trade to the Patriots and are just totally avoiding any of the conflicts of interest that have arose over the past week!?!?

The Patriots tried to silence the vrabel/Russini story and put pressure on The Post to not publish anything, but were unsuccessful, per PFT. There's "nothing to it", though. Disgusting franchise.

The NFL found out about the Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini photos 8 days ago and has done nothing. The entire internet is talking about the possibility of Vrabel using Russini to tamper with Maxx Crosby and AJ Brown - but the NFL is hoping radio silence from partners like ESPN will help this blow over without the full-scale investigation that fans want. It’s up to you to make a big enough deal out of it to get their attention. You are the media.

Patriots should lose their first round pick over the Russini stuff if they’re consistent. The AJ brown thing is pretty obvious tampering

Jerod Mayo’s #Patriots are a mess right now — and it comes from the top down. He’s in over his head and needs to be better in all phases. Coaching. Leading. What he says/doesn’t say. All of it. Calling for his job this early? Silly. Reactionary. Unserious. He should be (and will be) allowed to learn and grow through his mistakes on the job.
