Racing families are the best. The Gravels were lifesavers this week! Stuck in Connecticut after @Victoria_Gravel and @DylanCook_1 awesome wedding. @BigDaveGravel & @Maureenseyes welcomed 5 of us into their home for several days. 15 total bodies watching movies, doing puzzles, playing games, going sledding, eating good food, and laughing a lot. Can’t thank them enough for their hospitality!

@landoncassill I remember watching Steve Kinser qualifying a sprint car at Calistoga. Going down the back straight he would drive with one hand up blocking the sun. He would set the car one handed into three like it was nothing. I believe @ChrisDolack shot a photo of it.

Anybody here ever seen a local dirt racer drive with their left hand on the wheel and their right hand braced on a roll bar? It’s a sight to see

Second time I’ve tracked my hours at work during sprint week, probably only interesting to me. Avg 15.8 hours/day compared to 13.3 in 2022 with JG. Winning sprint week is a lot easier than running 5th I guess.

@JohnnyWingo Our bleeder ports are different and can’t quick release the air out so the core being slow af is the real reason but the rest is all valid as well. Made for a fun video. No freebies in racing, if someone wants haubstadt tires from me it’s gonna cost them 🤑

What’s your personal reason for cutting the sidewalls @DylanCook_1? Not giving people free used stuff? Not getting tested if someone runs them? Faster than taking the core out? Makes them “not a tire” for disposal like cutting the sidewall out?

Haubstadt was sporty as always, finally retiring this set of rears, 3rd in May, 1st in June, 2nd last night 🫡 130 laps, grinder scratches still in them from May, best track in the world. #41days
