A new client of mine is an ex-ANC member. We had a chat about the current state of thing, and he confirmed the following scary points.
1. The ANC has no intention of growing the economy as they need people to be dependent on them.
2. Corruption is seen as their reward for the "struggle" so to think they will hold each other accountable is the biggest mistake we make (in fact, they will protect the criminality and kill the ones that speak up).
3. The day they are voted out, they will go the same way they came in (bombs & violence) and will not go peacefully.

1) Photons cant be brought to rest/stored
2) Have no mass (No interaction with Higgsfield)

I have a small beef with the keto/carnivore crowd (pun intended). If you're in the community, hear me out on this:
I feel very fortunate that I learned so much during my bro bodybuilding dieting days. I was able to change my body composition effectively with that approach, but it wasn't optimal from a hormonal, sustainable, or metabolic standpoint. Keto answered a lot of those issues for me.
But here's what frustrates me: many people in the keto space who didn't come from that tracking background are completely ignorant when it comes to tracking macronutrients and calories.
There's this huge fear of even saying the word "calorie" in low-carb and carnivore communities.
The pendulum has swung so far that people now claim calories are totally irrelevant and it's all about hormones.
This drives me crazy because the truth is - they BOTH matter.
Yes, hormones are very important. Depending on your hormone manipulation, you can influence how much caloric expenditure you're actually getting from the foods you consume.
But at the end of the day, a calorie is just a unit of measurement. All foods have a specific calorie count and impact the body metabolically and hormonally differently.
If the word "calorie" triggers you, swap it out for "fuel." The concept remains the same.
When I'm in prep, I'm 100% manipulating my calories, and I'm very particular with my macronutrient ratios.
I'm the same way with my clients. I manipulate their calories and macros every single week. I tell them to consistently get within five grams of their goal macros every single day.
This gives me good data on how their body is responding so I can make better adjustments going forward. I need this data to do my job as best as I can.
At the same time, I don't think people should be a slave to tracking macros. If you're happy with how you look, you don't need to over think it.
If you're regulating your blood sugar response and eating real, quality food that's nutrient-dense and not hyper-palatable, you can be more intuitive with your eating. Your body will give you better hunger signaling cues and you're not at high risk of overindulging.
But if all those criteria are met and you're still not happy with how you're looking, then remember: what can be measured can be managed. Take an objective view, get these metrics in place, and figure out what needs to be manipulated to reach your goal.
For specific goals like bodybuilding prep, you can't intuitively get to sub-5% body fat. Your body's going to fight you, so you've got to look at the numbers.
The key is finding balance. Don't fear calories, but don't ignore hormones either. Both matter.
Use the tools when you need them, trust your body when you can, and always prioritize the long-term sustainability of your approach.
