Overwatch was allowed to have more variety in designs when it was paid because they were selling the game and maybe loot boxes (since you could earn everything by playing) Now they need to sell the character skins so every new hero design has to be super safe

im sorry but just, her design annoys me. like they just wanted another successful girl character to sell skins and it feels really obvious. like we can't get omnic characters looking like omnics unless they are male its so bleak
