A teen cousin showed me this in her AP American Government book. Trump is similar ideologically to Hitler and Bernie Sanders is a touch off the center to the left.

Today, on Good Friday, we mark a day of sacrifice. Some New Yorkers will abstain from eating; others will spend hours without speaking. Faith, the Bible tells us, is belief in the things unseen. That belief is what will guide so many of our neighbors in solemn reflection and reverence. I wish all those observing Good Friday a blessed day of peace.

Digging deeper, the George Mason/WAPO poll has some other interesting nuggets. 57% of registered voters think it's more important that Virginia’s congressional districts reflect the political makeup of the state, compared to 34% who say it's more important that Virginia’s congressional districts balance out other states that were drawn to favor one party. Plus, 48% of registered voters think a 10D-1R map (like the one proposed) is unfair. 44% think that type of map is fair.

If Republicans did this, then they don’t have to worry about Democrats taking over because they’ll have institutional power to oppose a D majority effectively.
It also restores the Senate back to a closer version of what it was meant to be.

Instead of nuking the filibuster, I propose Senate Republicans:
1) reverse the 2013 & 2017 weakening of the filibuster using point of order rulings to restore the actual rule.
2) formally change the rules of the senate to eliminate the point of order mechanism that allows nuking the filibuster.
