I'm going to answer and imagine your question is genuine. It's simple, think of an LLM model, the more data you feed it the better it can perform. apply the same logic to this. 92 million phones and computers connected to the netand you would have more information to connect the dots. In no way i'm saying what is happening is fair but if this stops even one more Iranian from getting killed in my book that's a win, cause to me Iranian life is precious regardless of political beliefs.

@ESIM3N @sharghzadeh So Palantir cannot infiltrate the devices through the whitelisted internets and sim cards? They can only do cuber attacks through people’s phones and computers? 🙄

@sajad_NoVa @sharghzadeh Call it cope if you want — but when data becomes a weapon, access becomes a risk.
English

@ESIM3N @sharghzadeh turned off 90 million people’s internet and called it “cybersecurity” 😭
This isn’t strategy, it’s the same old authoritarian cope: “It’s not control, it’s just… Palantir bro, trust me.” Nice try.
English

@sharghzadeh He literally bragged about their war-fighting capabilities and said ‘ask our enemies.’
That tells you everything about how modern warfare works now — data, tracking, targeting.
In that environment, limiting exposure isn’t just control, it’s defence.

English

@sharghzadeh honest answer? Palantir and cyber attack. if you want i can genuinely answer a bit more.

It’s not that hard to understand in a wartime context.
Iran has already faced serious cyberattacks on critical infrastructure — including banks reportedly losing operational capability.
When your financial system, communications, and data are under threat, limiting external access becomes a defensive move.
Add to that the increasing use of data analytics and intelligence tools — like those developed by Palantir Technologies — in modern warfare, where digital footprints can be used to identify and target individuals, and the logic becomes clearer.
Could it be done more selectively? Maybe.
But in the middle of a conflict, time, infrastructure, and certainty are limited.

@stats_feed California builds the future, Texas fuels it, New York finances it… and Florida live-streams it.

If Iran can stop Western ships through the Strait of Hormuz with a few drones, the mighty US Navy can embargo Iran's oil. Goal is to bring the mullahs to the negotiating table in good faith. Iran is a gas station masquerading as a country. This'll work...

@IraninHyderabad If it was social media, I'm sure he would report iran before blocking but of course UN is only using AI these days so reporting wouldn't get him anywhere.
English

@Polymarket Depends on what season we are talking about, war season or negotiation season.
