Some set pictures of the big Audrey II puppet designed and built by Lyle Conway and team for 'Little Shop of Horrors' (1986). As the plant stages were named after their songs, this is the 'Mean Green Mother' puppet. It was shot undercranked (12-16 fps), allowing proper lip sync.

仮面ライダーの造形は同じエキスプロが手がけた魔神バンダーが影響している。超人バロム1もエキスプロの魔神ガロン(特撮テスト)から発展させたもの。元デザインがあっても造形次第で如何様にも変わる。変身ヒーローマスクの始まりは1971年から。様々な造形会社、造形家から色々なものが見えてきます。

東映TV作品の等身大仮面ヒーローを時系列的に見てみると、 七色仮面 → ナショナルキッド → 仮面の忍者赤影 → 仮面ライダー となる。 流れで比較すると、仮面ライダーのデザインが、如何に画期的で斬新だったかが一目瞭然で分かる。

@M3S0soic If this in regards to Monarch, it's likely just a reference to the mythological creature. Not a reference.
This would be like saying Yamata-no-Orochi in KotM is a reference to Yamato Takeru or The Three Treasures.
