@TOClimates @DRMcCarthy1 @StewartMPatrick @rafiyouatt It will generate discussion, that’s certain. I have detected an ambivalent position on the nation-state (they want it tamed by planetary institutions rather than transcended by these) but planetarity is not simply globality. I would like to see what you make of it at some point.

@EarthCiv @DRMcCarthy1 @StewartMPatrick @rafiyouatt I'm looking forward to reading, but do hope it's not a re-run of the globalisation debate in the 1990s ('the state is obsolete'), or that it effaces the fact of the international by reifying 'globality' as a social category (tho of course it is a physical reality: the planet).
