Hospitals follow the same rule: if Hamas uses them as weapons caches or terrorist HQs, they lose protected status and become lawful targets (AP I Art 52(2)). Same law applies to everyone: Iran, Israel, whoever. No special exemptions.

Most other crit. facilities have on-site backup generation capabilities. If you don't want civilian power plants to be targeted, then one needs the military to supply all its own power. ๐คทโโ๏ธ

The school incident wasn't a war crime: it wasn't targeted *for being a school*; it was targeted because it had been an IRGC building and the intel on it was stale.
