I think less emphasis should be placed on his education, and the only emphasis should be with what he did with it. What is his track record. He has been governor of the Bank of Canada and the UK, what was the outcome of both of those? I have a lot of criticisms of Mark Carney but none of them are that he lacks a strong economic education. He literally has a PhD in Economics from Oxford, after studying it at Harvard. Not to mention the only Central Bank Governor to two nations. What a ridiculous thing to say.
