Truth is, it doesn’t really matter that much for the national team where he ends up. At his age, he’s already a ‘completed’ product, and he’s a GK.
Just look at the World Cup: Bono plays in Saudi Arabia, and Nyland spent the entire season as a backup.
You can have concerns about his performances at the World Cup and in the playoffs, but a move to Saudi won’t make him better or worse. It’s still a fairly competitive league.
He’s a GK with his strengths and flaws, and that isn’t going to change.
