I’m now convinced Rick Barnes told the administration and boosters that he’s done after next season, so if they want a Final Four now is the time to go all in. Enjoy the ‘26-‘27 season. It could be the last of the best years of Tennessee Basketball for awhile.

Ik you don’t have a pulse on the fanbase (rightfully so), but it’s been pleading with the administration for NIL money to compete because the boosters won’t pay up most of the time. Some of the richest boosters/alumni yet they really don’t care. Texas Tech does it right. Boosters use the Wild West window to go all in till they put some kind of set boundaries in place with the portal free agency.
