@plushpansy I mean.... have you SEEN some of the books that got published lately? You're not wrong in your sentiment, I think reading has a lot to do with attention span/familiarity stuff, but actual books need to be marketable and palatable and have "appeal". Fanfiction just needs to BE.

@BloodRedHerring Why has no one offered you ozempic/GLP-1 meds???? Those are supposed to specifically work on your food drive, and apparently the next generation of those is on the way It's SO difficult bc maybe you can in theory control what you do but you can't control how your body feels
