@EmCookson @ChelleHardwick @emmerdale @ITV I think there was plenty of affection and yes, I would have liked a kiss (obviously!)!but the proposal was no less amazing because of the lack of one. Michelle and Emma were fantastic and it felt so real & natural.

@wellshowmethen Don’t get me wrong - it was very cute and emotional. But for me, just not truly representative - we know they are a passionate couple, we’ve seen it in previous scenes. Sealing the proposal with a real kiss would of taken it that next step. I don’t see a reason why they didn’t.
