Khฤƒn rแบฑn - adapted from the Cambodian krama, had a tight link to the Vietnamese guerrilla fighters in their resistance against western colonialism. Kufiyah has become the symbol of Palestinian solidarity following the Arab Revolt in the late 1930s. #FreePalestine

Mine is that y'all need to stop saying the word "woke" if you're not putting in the extra work to learn about and deconstruct antiblackness bc most of y'all don't even know that woke is a black originated word that means to be aware of BLACK ISSUES specifically.

whatโ€™s a woke take of yours that other woke people might find too woke

@EmWeaCh iโ€™m not very familiar with vnc but i do agree with your second tweet about his stance coming from a place of privilege as an โ€œimmortalโ€ powerful being

In vnc, johann expressed disgust towards how noรฉ gets to say he doesnt want to result to violence is because he is aware that he is strong enough to subdue others with it In a way it also applies to vash

I need to talk about it Yeah his morals and extreme pacifism are so radical and heโ€™s so stubborn to change them that sometimes it does drive you insane This is why I love him so much his passivity and avoidance make him a perfect opposite of a typical protagonist

Also also to add onto this i think vash's very different lifespan makes it hard for him to truly empathize with humans when it comes to mortality. He observes them like a bystander most of the time and kinda contributes very little to exercising restorative justice so to speak

On one hand it is understandable for vash to say that considering what he went through On the other hand it is kinda distasteful for a larger-than-life being like him to preach that into the faces of the humans who struggle to survive and plants who are engineered into servitude
