People are upset because she had an unprecedented season and haven’t been talked about and then his sloppy announcement was just the straw that broke the camels back. It’s built up frustration.

Let me be clear when I say this: the vote never made sense to me and still boggles my mind. A’ja also admitted that it bothered her and she felt disrespected by it. That “small small fourth place” vote just produced one of the greatest WNBA seasons ever. So, yes — “dragged”.

To give you an idea how unserious this league has been, this was the Allstar MVP Trophy given out a few years ago. Someone posted this pic and it went viral to the point there’s even a Snopes, saying it isn’t the same trophy. Last year they had a bigger Trophy due to the backlash
