i'm currently building a voting system that uses a local mock SMS service so I can test the full OTP flow without burning credits. Backend is built with Go + Gin, Postgres and Redis, it's mostly done and tested. What's left are the voting and admin UIs

so i built a chrome extension for sharing a moment as a direct link, it currently supports youtube alone because other streaming platforms do not expose a public API or support deep link timestamps in their URLs.

I’m not the best developer out there however I own my tasks, I always build with scalability in mind, I test boy do I test my code, I think about better ways of handling issues, I learn everyday and I’m constantly improving myself to be the best developer.

You’re right that gaming, especially console gaming, is still a luxury in Nigeria, and that reality is something we’re very aware of. Our approach with Mazerance has always been long-term, balancing local realities with a global vision for what games built by an African-led, Australia-based team can become. While Nigeria is an important part of our community, the goal isn’t to limit the product to one market or platform, but to build something that can stand internationally while also inspiring more people locally to see game development as a viable path. Progress update on burnished -- planned to focus on the frontend but ended up tweaking both the backend and microservice. Everything’s now Dockerized and deployed live.

I've added some new features, here goes: 1. roast mode 2. cover letter generator 3. CV optimizer The UI is still very meh but that's the next update to be made.

Hot take: As a developer, your portfolio link shouldn’t be ending with .vercel.app or .netlify.app. Even a cheap .xyz domain is better. Little details like this count more than we think.

I want to try as much as possible to document my progress on a personal project I'm working on. I've done the major work on the backend and microservice and now I'm working on the frontend. Currently building a CV mini editor that adapts to a template that is supported by HRs.
