Family can be so draining that I found myself constantly struggling, losing sleep, and sacrificing my own peace just to keep everyone else comfortable.
I reached a point where I realized that helping others shouldn’t come at the cost of my mental and emotional well-being. You can love your family, support them when you can, and still set boundaries that protect your peace. Sometimes, choosing yourself is not selfish it’s necessary.
