OK everyone, welcome to the relaunch of the Salty Seagulls Society It has been just under 19 days since the acquisition of the Salty Seagulls Society project by Epoch Labz officially completed and a lot has changed since then. Usually it would take time for a community to unlock certain aspects/features of the Meta-Multiverse, however, concerning a previous post made by Epoch Labz on X (x.com/EpochLabz/stat…), regarding the doors closing for acquisitions on Cardano, the Salty Seagulls Society managed to get their foot in the door just in time. Also, they have already accumulated a considerable amount of points, as it was the Gulls who cracked the code and first discovered Epoch Labz, they were the ones who created a Discord channel, specifically dedicated to unravelling Epoch Labz' many mysteries and they are the ones who are responsible for unlocking much of the observable Meta-Multiverse so far, bringing us full circle. Therefore, it is only fitting that I return the hospitality and dedication displayed. The Salty Seagulls Society's Discord server has been completely restructured from the ground up, to allow for an easier flow of information. Take your time to explore and post in the new Discord channels, use them to share interests and strengthen your bond with one another. I have assigned Dasboxerturbo to the role of project coordinator, Darwin to the role of community manager and Lord Tivali to the role of social media manager. Moderators will be chosen from the previously existing council, along with selected members of Ground Control from Epoch Labz. The current Salty Seagulls Society DAO funds (pool.pm/addr1q9a25gtza…) of 177,917 ADA will not be used for the development of this project, they will remain under the control of the entire Salty Seagulls Society community via the DAO, as I have zero interest in any pre-existing project funds generated, prior to the acquisition of the Salty Seagulls Society by Epoch Labz. As the owner of the @ChilledKongs project, I'd like to thank everyone who voted for us in the "𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 C𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁?" competition, it's much appreciated, it was a community effort. Shout out and much love to all of the other projects and their communities. Although a bit of friendly competition is fun I would like to use this moment to address something more important. First off, there are NO losers, we are all one. Not to sound cliché but the truth is we all build on Cardano, because we truly believe in this blockchain, @IOHK_Charles and his team (@IOHKMedia). But if you truly want Cardano to reach higher levels of adoption, then we must put in the ground work, we must reach a consensus and stand together in solidarity and respect for one another, as I've said many times before. Just because crypto is often considered the wild west, doesn't mean everyone has to shit on each other. Even the wild west had people who displayed integrity and upheld high morals. In my opinion, the success of a project should be measured by its track record (consistency), development (innovation), professionalism and strength of its community, not by who screams the loudest in an X space targeting other projects. The truth is, mature, respectful dialogue is needed for retail and real world brands to want to get involved with this industry, and that means that projects and their products/services must stand the test of time itself. If you want things to last, then they must be done right. We at @EpochLabz have consistently said since our emergence, that hype (although fun), is overrated. Sustainability, longevity and interoperability is what's important. That is what we focus on. We must welcome other blockchains and their communities, instead of opposing them.
