For me, the 1 call I make in 5 years is a terrible experience. It’d take two minutes if I spoke to a real person, “hi yes, the battery in the key fob is dead, and needs replaced”, becomes an epic of annoyance. I spent longer on the call, than it took for the mechanic to arrive.

Second call, got through to the chatbot eventually. Ten minutes of not understanding my responses. “The battery in the key fob is dead” “I think you said your car has a flat battery” “Nooooooo!” For you a chatbot saves loads of money over millions of calls a year.

Had to call @TheRAC_UK earlier in the week. Calling - experience not great. First call, 5 mins. Sent a link. Sorry lads, the reason I didn’t use the app and called in the first place is I didn’t have my reading glasses. “We’ve sent a link” call ended.
