Our #Construction team, in partnership with Lancashire Constabulary, has been granted planning for the redevelopment of a former Runshaw College site into a new police station. John Hartnett, Managing Director said “We are glad to be working with Lancashire Constabulary to deliver their new police station in Euxton. Our Civil Engineering team, with client Preston City Council, are set to start on site in the summer as planning is approved for Moor Park and Waverley Park improvements. Well done to our first 2025 World of Work Experience (WOWEX) cohort! The group was made up of 14 students from Preston College, Runshaw College, Burnley College, Winstanley College, Hutton Grammar School and Sixth Form, Hulme Grammar School, St Michael's Church of England High School Chorley, Bishop Rawstorne Church of England Academy, St Aidens High School, Hope Academy and Cardinal Newman College Preston. The students spent the week immersed in our different divisional operations, experiencing challenges and tasks from planning, bid writing, design management, quantity surveying, site management, programme planning, risk registers and risk assessments, and engineering. Our Construction team is currently on site at Rumworth School in #Bolton for client Clear Futures. As part of our ambition to leave a legacy beyond the build, our masonry contractor on the scheme ECR generously donated new tools and equipment to the school, allowing for the students to hone their skills in becoming the next generation of bricklayers. The works will see the team increase capacity and improve resources for group activities at the outstanding special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) school.

Rowland Homes Limited has completed the purchase of a residential development site off Stanifield Lane in Farington from Maple Grove Developments and @LancashireCC, as part of the proposed #Lancashire Central site development.
