This isn't gonna work. The EU development funds that Magyar wants to release are contingent on Hungary accepting EU migration policy. He either goes back on his pledge to get those funds or he goes back on this. Either way, stop glazing this obvious Manchurian candidate.

If Magyar does good things in terms of remigration, I will definitely praise him for that. But what he announced one day after his election is that one of his first acts will be the dismantling of the metapolitical infrastructure that Orbán created. He will purge real conservative ideologues and organic intellectuals from the state and the ideological apparatus. He will create tribunals and proscription lists, trying to destroy the entire media environment built over the past decades. He will definitely not replace this with a different “Eurofed”-infrastructure, because he has no ideological base, no academy, and no real intellectual foundation behind him. So this will simply leave space for liberals to fill the gaps. Why would a real nationalist do that? If it were Mi Hazánk and @ToroczkaiLaszlo who had toppled Orbán, I would understand the praise from nationalists, and I would probably join it. But I think a lot of people are in for a very rough awakening. Don’t be fooled by superficial populist actions. Look at what is happening on the metapolitical level.

And he mentioned the BBC as an example for an oversight board the new government wants to establish to ensure independence for state media.
