@MontaigneMaths Yes, Extensity enables or disables extensions, but how to use each one depends on the extension itself.

@ExtensityChrome hi, ive installed your extension and its nice it gets all the extensions off the toolbar. However if I want to use one of them, eg/. Loom, how do I get it to work? Do I need to go into chrome extension icon and select it from there?

On "Pin / Unpin" extensions and browser support.
Extensity@ExtensityChrome

@JamieCropley @brave Pinning is 100% a Chrome/Brave thing, internal to the browser. There's zero support in the API for pinning/unpinning, so Extensity can't do much about it. I was meant to build pinning "memory" features, and looking for browser support for a while, but so far nothing yet.

@JamieCropley @brave And yes, you're correct. Unpinning just hides the icon, but the extension remains active, as well as its memory and CPU consumption. I get the "usefulness" of unpinning extensions that don't really need a popup menu there, but the implementation itself is misleading.

New release going out! When you have too many extensions or profiles and exceed Google's quota for sync storage, they'll be saved to your local browser instead, automatically.
