SUPERGIRL is not at all what I was expecting. I, too, assumed “superhero space movie with needle drops” would have a similar tone to GOTG or even Superman. Instead it looks and plays more like a Mad Max movie, with dirty worlds, gross villains and a self destructive hero

DC Comics has announced Superman: The Stranger, a 6 issue black label series from Wes Craig.
Set in an Art Deco-inspired version of 1938 Metropolis, the series revisits the earliest days of the Man of Tomorrow while drawing inspiration from the original Action Comics stories and the iconic Fleischer Studios animated shorts. The project presents a fresh interpretation of Superman’s beginnings through a modern lens while embracing the character’s earliest foundations.

THE FURIOUS was pretty good. To call it the best action movie of the decade (as the poster suggests) is probably an over exaggeration but I had a good time regardless.
Kinda a shame that the story is mad whatever cause the fight scenes alone are worth the price of admission.

What’s your preference, old-school physics-based web swinging or Insomniac’s cinematic style?? Older Spider-Man games (like Spider-Man 2 & Web of Shadows) had more satisfying player expression through realistic momentum & physics, but could look and feel janky. Insomniac’s games look better but feel restrictive, and sometimes jarring, in comparison 🤔 #SpiderMan #Gaming
