@DrBradBarnett I know a few RLE but agree trifocal is rare. IMO my favorite application of RLE is the 30 year old +7.00 that would not do well with LASIK.

@EyeFlyMD @EyeFlyMD food for thought. Do you know of an ophthalmologist that has undergone a clear lens exchange? What percentage of ophthalmologists get trifocal lenses themselves? With exchangeable optics on the horizon do clear lens exchanges in anyone under 45 make sense ?

@eyemd76 For the basic cases I always make a C shape like this. It both radializes it and flips it over in one motion.

I changed how I start my capsulorhexis this year. It's now one continuous motion with the cystitome rather than multiple attempts to flip the leaflet over. More predictable and efficient. Full video: youtu.be/E_9RT9dwNsE

While uncommon, we do everything at PNV including the occasional LPI. With state of the art imaging I’m able to record super HD videos like this. Here’s an LPI for narrow angles in the IT quadrant. #ophthalmology
