FBC Waco

After continued monitoring of current conditions and overnight forecasts, we have decided not to hold in-person services tomorrow (January 25). We have prepared an online-only service to stream at 10:30 am on our Facebook and YouTube pages.

We plan to meet for worship at 10:30 am Sunday (also available by live-stream on Facebook and YouTube), but all other ministries are canceled due to winter weather. If we need to adjust further, we’ll communicate by 2:00 pm Saturday.

Join us as we host composer Elaine Hagenberg for a Christmas Concert featuring the FBC Waco Sanctuary Choir and Chamber Orchestra. The concert will be free admission and will be held in the Sanctuary of First Baptist Waco at 6:00 pm on December 9th.

Saturday October 28th at 8:00am is Baylor's Homecoming Parade! We will have a station with breakfast and coffee on 4th street behind the Live Oak Gym to watch the parade together. We will not have bleachers this year, so be sure to bring blankets/chairs to have a place to sit!

This Sunday First Baptist Waco is privileged to have the Baylor Religious Hour Choir join us for worship! We hope to see you there as we welcome them and join our voices to praise our God.

The distribution date for Furnishings at First will be Saturday, August 19 from 8am - 12pm. Volunteers interested in greeting, assisting with registration, loading and unloading furniture, or driving trucks for deliveries should contact Casey Spinks (casey_spinks2@baylor.edu).

All FBC members! Join our Day Campers and families in the Chapel at 5:30! Campers will share what they’ve learned, and afterward we'll eat ice cream! We’ll have a meal from 5:00-5:30, and then the Celebration will replace Wednesday ministries. Join us to support our campers!

We're happy to announce Julia Butler as our new Associate Pastor of College and Missions! Welcome to First Baptist, Julia!

The church office will be closed July 3rd and July 4th in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

We will not meet for Wednesday evening activities this week due to VBS. Wednesday evening ministries will resume next week.

Join us as we celebrate the 157th anniversary of our sister congregation New Hope Baptist Church! The celebration will begin at 3:00pm on Sunday June 11th. We hope to see you there for a time of celebration and worship!

Thanks to all who have sacrificed on behalf of our country. In remembrance of them the church office will be closed on Monday, May 29, for the Memorial Day holiday.

Wednesday evening ministries will not meet on May 24th to help students and teachers finish the school year. Activities will resume May 31st.

Join us for a joint performance between Baylor Choirs and members of FBC Waco's Sanctuary choir next Monday, February 20th at 7:30pm. You won't want to miss these incredible voices filling the sanctuary with beautiful music.

Looking for Christmas Eve plans? Join us for Carols and Candles at 6:00pm in the FBC sanctuary. No childcare will be provided, but activity bags will be available for preschool and elementary children. We look forward to worshiping the newborn king with you this season!
