Faculty members participated in professional development today. A special highlight was a presentation by Nick Davis entitled "Student Discipline for School Safety" followed by lunch at Evergreen at Gunter Hollow. Today's event was made possible by the Stronger Connections grant.

Registration for Pre-K at Ralph Askins School opens Monday, Feb. 9. Pre-K teachers will be available during onsite registration on Monday to answer questions and help families through the process. #citytigers

Congratulations to our Teachers of the Year for 2025-26: Anna Daniel, RAS; Troy Slone, FMS; & Brandi Thompson, FHS. Mr. Jones and school administrators surprised the teachers today, presenting a plant, balloon and personalized picture frame and treating them to lunch at Cahoot's.

This special, student-led program is open to the public and will feature music performed by students and community members. The event will also include the presentation of the Underground Railroad Freedom Quilt, created by The Wonky Sewing Sewcial, a local quilting group.
