@NechoPlays You have to do the boom before the c.MP hit's so that it still comes out even though you pressed it early. You can start charging before the move even comes out and I believe it works if you don't even use this technique but this will make it easier

@OmegaTomHanks I feed off the rush during the match for sure but I also feel the anxiety/anticipation before the match, I think it's perfectly normal. As a pro once you put in all the prep you can, you learn to live with the results knowing there's another event coming very soon lol

@FGCFlash Yeah I'm wondering about the compounding effects of stress and adrenaline in general though. Physically are you usually more zen and able to stay calm during tourney or do you get that adrenaline rush and feed off it?

I've realized how much my heart rate goes up when in bracket vs casuals, no matter how low stakes it is. Honestly it's part of why I don't care to compete much anymore, this fg stuff has taken years off my life. Doesn't help that my favorite games are bullshit LOL

@OmegaTomHanks Unless youre feeling dizzy or have some sort of pain I wouldn't look at an elevated heart rate as such a bad thing. It's not taking a toll on your body

I wonder how many top players are able to keep physically calm during sets or whether the adrenaline fuels them, to some extent it's probably something that can be trained and partially comes from confidence. I still get physical symptoms even when I feel confident myself though.

I been watching the NBA for a long time now and i don’t think I’ve ever seen a player get doubled as much as KD. Thing is i don’t really understand why they only really do it to him other stars score 40+ a night on man defense this alone tells me how great KD really is.

You rely on long sets to download an opponent, but a tournament bracket does not give you that luxury. If you cannot make the read in an FT2, your match awareness is too slow for actual competition.
