This is a typical Rice performance in possession. Serious question - Does this really impress anyone? Does anyone watch this and believe that this is the best level of midfield play? I am sorry, this doesn’t even come anywhere close. I rate Rice highly and his on-ball game is above average. But he is nowhere near the best midfielders in the game. There are many better.

There’s no better left winger Arsenal could sign than Kvaratskhelia. He’s tailor-made for Arteta’s system, a ball-carrying dribbler who can go inside or outside, create chances, strike the ball cleanly, and take responsibility in big moments. He fits like a glove. He has the potential to have an Alexis Sanchez-type influence on the team. Regardless of whether the reports are true or not, Arsenal should at least test the waters for him.

I understand the sentiment that United haven’t played this well. But, you have to quantity their mistakes. You can’t have a 50% discount because United kind of publicly said Garnacho isn’t in their plans. Napoli signed Lukaku last season and kind of declared that Osimhen wasn’t in their plans. Did Osimhen get a 50% discount? PSG publicly (officially) declared that Donnarumma isn’t in their plans. Does this mean that he gets a 50% discount? Chelsea have multiple players who aren’t in their plans anymore. Are they leaving for 20m? Coming back to Garnacho, go ahead and put a 5-10% discount on his market price. But, that’s about it. Figure out a market price and then reduce 5-10% from that number. If you are talking about public disagreement, Amorim has publicly said that the club has a number for Garnacho. If that number isn’t met then he will be back in the squad. If you really believe that these public statements mean that much then believe Amorim’s public comment. I will leave with this. Garnacho isn’t the first nor the last player who will leave a club having bad relationships with the club. There have been numerous players who have left their club with having bad relationships. Sometimes it’s from the club side and sometimes it’s from the player side (see Isak, Kane, Modric, Coutinho, VVD, Ronaldo, etc). That doesn’t mean anyone will go on a free or get a 50% discount.

@FPLDyless Wind back time 12h and transfer out Nkunku for another mid ;) Prioritize fixing any weak points in your starting 11 first of all, or just roll the transfer if you could be confident that you have 11 starters.
