#WATCH | Delhi | Director General of École Polytechnique (French engineering school), Laura Chaubard says, "École Polytechnique is a world-class institution for research and higher education in science in France and we have led ten very active policies to get more international partnerships. We have developed a wide range of education programs taught in English... We are very happy and excited to develop new partnerships with the Indian partners, especially with IITs and IISCs and we came here this week to sign two agreements for student exchange with IIT Mumbai and IIT Delhi. Currently, there are about 80 Indian students in our programs..." On the question, whether École Polytechnique will establish a centre in India, she says, "Not right now, we are exploring future ways of collaboration. We agreed with Bangalore to set up a faculty seminar to get our faculty members to know each other and then explore what we can do as joint supervision of PhDs and maybe double degrees in the future..."
