i just realized that all my married friends none of their partner changed their surname.

Unpopular opinion : forcing a child to eat everything on their plate is a form of abuse .

A friend of mine was not allowed to name her first child because they don’t want her tribe name. Her husband single handedly picked the English name, the mother-in-law picked Igbo name and she wanted to pick an uhrobo name as she was urhobo but was told she cannot because they don’t want the child to bear an urhobo name . She insisted on picking an English name but was told the child cannot have two English names. That was how she never got to name a child she carried and birthed.

I am at a wedding. And this couple made sure there’s no circular music played!

My cousin went to the beach, the water took her away and brought her back 3 days later. 😩 She is the only child of her parent and till date whenever I see her, I am scared to look her in the eyes😭😭😭
