You guys don’t know how obsessed I used to be over Jadako. I had a whole domestic au for them and I drew them all the time in early middle school

@ElSamurai90 Jason’s been out of films since 2009, but he never really left pop culture. His own game alone kept him alive for years, plus he’s still one of the most recognizable horror icons. He didn’t really disappear, he just shifted mediums.

It’s painful that they don’t know Jason, but he hasn’t had a movie since 2009. It’s like when younger folks didn’t know who the T-1000 was when he came to MK1. Characters can just lose cultural impact if they have a long absence.
