This is preventing younger people from having any chance to succeed in life by being able to find work, get married, and have families. Please become a champion of its just redistribution from the old who have more than enough to these poor and demoralized younger people who need it to live with dignity and freedom from want. You have the moral voice to proclaim this most necessary policy, which will give hope to many millions who are in want for a future based on human dignity and freedom.

We had a neighbor move in about 2 miles away & tear down all the trees, build a HUGE FENCE around the yard just so no deer, bunnies or birds could eat their “garden”! Christ is Risen! One of the most beautiful and profound images in Orthodox Paschal hymnography is this: the Savior came forth from the tomb as from a bridal chamber. Christ is the Sun of Righteousness who rises from the tomb, enlightening all creation. Through Holy Baptism, we too enter this mystery: we are immersed completely three times in the water - in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit - dying with Christ and rising with Him. These three full immersions symbolize our death and burial with Christ, while our emergence from the water signifies the Resurrection and birth into new life. In this way, we become partakers of the mystical wedding between Christ the Bridegroom and His Bride, the Church. The tomb becomes a chamber of joy, and our life - a Paschal banquet. May the light of the Resurrection fill our hearts with holy joy and prepare us for the eternal wedding feast in the Kingdom of Heaven! Blessed feast to everyone!

Why not lawmakers, Judges, Governor & the AG? Why have elections if unelected officials can remove those WE ELECT?

It would have been great had lawmakers included a provision with some language about “constant whining.” Listen, we get it. It’s performative and self-promoting. You think that this issue is one you can use to raise your profile, and you’ll debase yourself and your office in any way that you can for the clout you think it will bring. However, it would be nice if you would just buck up, put on your Big Boy pants, and focus on the serious (and tough) work of running a sheriff’s department.
