Boom Supersonic@boomsupersonic

1.21-gigawatts of power is coming online. ⚡️ Boom Supersonic is accelerating the AI revolution through our new partnership with @bakerhughesco. We have placed our first firm order for 25 BRUSH™ DAX 7 generators, which will be paired directly with our Superpower turbines to provide reliable, baseload electricity for massive data center projects. From supersonic flight design to 1.21-gigawatts of onsite power for our anchor customer, @CrusoeAI – we are building the engines that run the future.

Like, to be clear, they're setting up a station to mass produce individual turbine blades. High performance, high temperature turbine blades. This is distinctly not Raptor (single piece, far smaller, relatively low temperature) or the Starship Gasifier assembly. Whatever this sports a physically far larger turbine assembly, maybe even multistage given vanes are mentioned prominently. More akin to what you find on modern air-breathing engine turbines than their previous work on rockets. And is apparently , as in the first image on the first post, intended to power their AI (& other ventures). Also, At Bastrop??? Huh??

So, I guess SpaceX is going to be making turbine power generators now...? That are seemingly driven by some form of combustor, if not an entire engine?? To power AI??? At Bastrop Texas?????

Because of the distance from the moon Artemis II was travelling, this is the first time some areas of the moon could be seen in their entirety, or at all exciting scientists back home. images.nasa.gov
