@IzzyStyle You did, when saying girls can register and wrestle boys. A priority would be recognizing how many girls would love to be a part of this and embracing it.

Ugh. I was with you... until I wasn't. Not the correct answer here. Girls wrestled boys because that was their only option, not because it was a want or desire. What a bummer. Make girls wrestling a priority (or even just equal) and will come back tenfold.

You just can't hate Chicago media enough. Yesterday, @CWBChicago reported Kim Foxx admitted under oath she believed two men convicted for a grisly murder were guilty of the crime, yet her office helped clear them. This should have been front-page news. Not one word.

Our Corporation Counsel needs to immediately halt the use of any @KimFoxx certificates of innocence! The fact she allowed these criminals to manipulate her in order to get a certificate of innocence that our @ChicagoCityLaw used to justified taxpayer-funded settlements. If this isn’t a crime, it damn well should be.

Neither the Latino Caucus of the Chicago City Council or Springfield General Assembly has said a single damn word in support of this Latina victimized by a repeat violent offender out on the street thanks to the SAFE-T Act they so love. I wonder if any Dem Committeeman are going to bring it up Monday at the @cookcodems meeting.

Chicago is facing a fiscal crisis, and a massive chunk of your taxpayer dollars is being quietly siphoned off through a highly questionable legal pipeline. The narrative Chicagoans are constantly fed is that the city has a troubling police misconduct problem. This is false, but there is a reason that people buy into it: Under Kim Foxx, Cook County embraced a policy of mass exonerations without rigorous, individual court testing. This reversed a lot of convictions, and it also laid the legal groundwork for trial lawyers to secure massive payouts from the city. The gist: >In 2022, Cook County saw 124 overturned convictions, more than half the national total. >Between 2019 and 2023, Chicago paid $49.5 million across 41 cases. >In 2024 alone, that number skyrocketed to $45.25 million for just seven cases. >There is at least $210 million more looming in pending and recent payouts.
