This week we have been out carrying out Bonfire night talks at @ShottsStPats, @allantonprimary & @staneprimary We have been discussing the dangers of Bonfire night and how to stay say on Bonfire night. We had some brilliant discussions and we were asked lots of good questions.

Today we attended the @shottsGBT “GBT in the park”community event and spoke with the community about bonfire night and bonfire night safety. We also promoted our On Call recruitment campaign and we were treated to a set from @GBXANTHEMS at the end.

Today we visited @staneprimary and spoke to the pupils about fire safety and the role of a firefighter. The pupils then had a look around the Fire engine and asked some very good questions.

Firefighters are lining The Royal Mile awaiting the funeral cortège of their colleague Barry Martin

Today, hundreds of firefighters from across Scotland will join the family and friends of Barry Martin in paying tribute at his funeral service to be held at St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh. We have information for those who wish to pay their respects available on our website.
