Our programme today was packed with interesting and inspiring presentations. From company presentations to how we as an industry can respond to the current trends post Covid and within the scope of the current world crises, and more!

We concluded the first day of our conference with an eye-opening visit to @Vertify_nl. Located in the very heart of Seed Valley, Vertify conducts applied research in outdoor vegetables, greenhouse horticulture, arable farming, flower bulbs, and fruit.

We kicked off the first day of our Breeders & Distributors Conference concentrating on Seed Valley. With presentations by Seed Valley, VPN (Association for Potting Soil and Substrate Netherlands) and Incotec.

Looking back at the opening of the new @hilverdaflorist location. We are always delighted to be able to attend such proud milestone events from our members. These new greenhouses have been built to the very latest technological specifications for young plant production.

We had an inspiring afternoon at Weihenstephan University yesterday.  The trial garden is used to test trees and shrubs, herbaceous perennials & new varieties of rose in ways that suit local conditions. In the allotment garden, the focus is on cultivation of vegetables & herbs.

We are so excited to welcome the participants to our #HomeGardenConference again. Over 80 participants travelled to Munich, Germany where we kicked of the conference this morning with an introduction to the theme of 'Small-Space Gardening'.

Our @Fleuroselect basil trial has been planted. 57 varieties in total across all the different types (some are repeats from different seed companies). You'll often hear advice not to grow basil outside in the UK but round these parts you definitely can.

Today was the Bees Knees kind of day! Nothing but sunshine and smiling faces. - Bees Knees petunia from @BallFloraPlant is an entry for @Fleuroselect FleutoStar award - Caught up with #horticulture friends - incredible stop of at @_Florensis - Did I mention the #Beesknees 💛

58 varieties of basil before and 58 varieties of basil after. Sown some other bits and bobs today but nice to get this @Fleuroselect trial started. Only grown a few of them before so will be running a keen eye over them as they grow 🌱👀
