Het testen van het Tesla FSD-systeem (Full Self-Driving) zal eerstdaags kunnen starten op de Vlaamse wegen. “Het voertuig zal over ongeveer 5.000 kilometer worden getest om eventuele verschillen met de Nederlandse weginfrastructuur en verkeersregels te evalueren. Als de resultaten positief zijn, kan snel werk worden gemaakt van een voorlopige Europese typegoedkeuring die geldig is op het volledige Belgische grondgebied”. Dank aan mijn federale collega om de testen toe te laten, hopelijk verlopen die vlot, en kunnen we vervolgens op zeer korte termijn tot homologatie overgaan! 💪 #Innovatie

Ik heb naar aanleiding van het Tesla FSD-testproject in Nederland aan @Tesla gevraagd hun dossier aan ons over te maken. Dat ligt nu bij mijn administratie, die ik de opdracht heb gegeven om tegen het einde van de week duidelijkheid te verschaffen over een mogelijke snelle homologatie. Want innovatie moet je niet afremmen, maar doordacht en veilig mogelijk maken. Zo houden we Vlaanderen op kop als vooruitstrevende regio.

I think FSD just isn't good enough for there to be no one in the driver seat. Maybe 14.3 will change that.
But if FSD gets in an accident every 1 million miles, that's 2x better than humans... But if you put 1,000,000 Robotaxi in cities, that's 1 accident per day

FSD is basically done. Would love to hear more from Tesla about what the deal is with Robotaxi, because it doesn’t feel like the software should be a major bottleneck anymore at this point. Why does everyone think nothing is happening with expansion? What’s the biggest bottleneck?

If Tesla's market capitalization only reaches $2T within the next 10 years, the proposed pay package would pay the CEO roughly $20,000,000,000 for this "achievement"
This would be roughly 3.8% annual growth from today's share price (2T milestone / 1.38T current market capitalization)
That would barely beat inflation, and it would underperform the S&P 500 considerably
Sorry, Tesla, some of us (and supposedly, ISS too) simply don't think that underperforming the S&P 500 this much is worth paying somebody 20 billion dollars worth of company value
As a fan, I love Tesla, I want it to succeed
As a shareholder, I don't want Tesla to over-pay for its CEO
I strongly believe that the 2025 pay package proposal would over-pay for its CEO, and that other competent CEOs could grow Tesla just as much with way less political drama and cost investors much less that this proposal

ISS once again completely misses fundamental points of investing and governance. They recommended against compensation that shareholders have voted on twice before (and that Elon has already earned), as well as the 2025 CEO Performance Award (where Elon receives nothing unless shareholders win big). ISS’s unfounded and nonsensical recommendation against Ira proves how disconnected from reality they are. As Tesla’s longest-tenured independent director, Ira has created a governance framework that has allowed Tesla to achieve an astonishing TSR increase of ~39,000% during his tenure. He embodies our high-engagement Board – with hands-on leadership + effective governance with a focus on long-term value. It’s easy for ISS to tell others how to vote when they have nothing on the line. Vote with Tesla on ALL proposals.

excited to get into long form writing — im much more of a yapper as I have talked about markets for 7hrs a day for the past 2 years but it is really nice to just sit down and type out an entire thesis
hoping my ability to analyze companies grows over time and people find more value in the written research as well 🙌
