Translation: I was about to mindlessly discard 4m, but the deal-in rate on 1m is low enough that I just tsumogiri'd (drew and discarded) it instead. If I can pull the 5m or 8m and then discard 2m, that path seems to have a lower overall deal-in rate.

And that’s a wrap for #PMLOpen2025. During the first game of the two hanchan set, I unfortunately dealt into a 12,000 haneman hand and took a 4th place
Even though I got first in the second game it was not enough to overtake. I had a lot of fun, thank you to all the players💪🏻🥰

Finished my tournament with 41th place in 64 players. Got my flow to win hands today and got the first place in my 8 players bracket.
Had a lot of fun to play with people! See you all next time!

On the other side, trying to show my existence by playing aggressive but still only had 17% win rate🥲 (and surprisingly low deal in rate) It’s so much easier to progress the game after winning a dealer mangan tsumo, but the issue is that I have to win one first lol

Made it to the PML Open finals but fell short in the end. Didn't deal in to any big hands but didn't convert any hands and just slowly bled out. Placed 4th overall and just gotta keep grinding from here.

Playing after a mahjong break is pretty rough and I'm definitely not playing the best I can. Still, 4th place after Day 1 is pretty good and two more hanchans to go before top cut (top 8)

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Haru Urara passed away on September 9.
The legendary racehorse's legacy serves as the inspiration for the character of the same name in Umamusume: Pretty Derby.
We share our condolences to all the staff involved in Haru Urara's care.
