Last but not certainly not least:
Brock Conrad of @FloydTrack won two events (shutout and discus events). He threw a personal-best in the discus.
Jake Grangier also the Highlanders. He broke the pole vault conference record and set the record at 14 feet, 9 inches. @joshcookNT

This is going to be the most simple, yet effective breakdown of how to get faster for your sport.
1) Get strong enough. No there’s not a thing as being too strong but.. if you’re the strongest athlete in the room and not the fastest… that’s a sign to work more speed/power into your program See @pbasilstrength strength standards chart.
2) Once you get strong enough, train at sub max weight and move that weight as fast as possible. If you have VBT, use it. If not.. get the weight to rattle. I love using @VitruveFit
3) Do more athletic stuff. Skips/bounds/plyos etc… basically if all you do is lift and you’re pretty good at that you should probably spend more time on the field and track doing more athletic stuff. I don’t know many better than @houndsspeed for this content
4) Sprint short distances, at max speed, with max rest. See @BrendanThompsn for a lot of great sprint based workouts.

@BrendanThompsn How long do you have them at fastest? I ask them to hold fastest for what feels like 2 sec. Then gear down gradually.
