It's been a busy week so far in Food prep'. Year 1 celebrated Shrove Tuesday by making scrumptious pancakes and Year 4 prepared a delicious apple pie. @QueenMargarets

To finish off their recent project on vegetarianism, Year 2 prepared vegetarian sushi and used their food styling skills to present their results to the rest of the group @QueenMargarets

A food science lesson today for year lV. They looked at how the properties of ingredients are changed during the preparation of a Baked Alaska. Denaturation, coagulation, foam formation, stabilisation and caramelisation were the processes they used. Well done @QueenMargarets
Our SSI girls spent the afternoon preparing some lovely dishes, all from scratch. Focaccia, homemade pasta, lasagne and Pavlova were on the menu. Well done, all @QueenMargarets

Year lV had a super lesson today, preparing a seafood pasta in a creamy white wine sauce. They prepared, cut and cooked their own pasta, made a white wine reduction sauce and added delicious fresh seafood. Well done! @QueenMargarets

Year lV GCSE Food preparation and nutrition students have been very busy preparing canapes for the final night of the school production of Oliver. These baskets will be filled to the brim with their tasty treats on Saturday evening. We hope to see you there. @QueenMargarets
