I would say it’s nothing like the division. I would never have made that connection. It’s exactly like Conan exiles though. If you enjoyed Conan exiles you’ll likely enjoy this. I think fans of Dune may enjoy this. Definitely agree with some of the comments saying you’ll either love it or hate it. I was concerned about the combat from videos, but once I got hands on with it, I found it fun, and I really enjoy the combat now.

Dune Awakening has a lot of issues, but I find myself really enjoying it. The whole experience reminds me a lot of Division. Far from a perfect game, but very immersive, and a world I'm loving spending time in. I expect peoples thoughts on the game to be quite divisive though.

People gave me shit for being annoyed at Bungie vaulting (removing) content we paid for in the game. Saying to get over it. ... only for Bungie years later to require citing youtube videos in court because they COULDN'T show it in game anymore. LOL I feel somehow vindicated.

Just watched some streamer shit talking a team mate in Elden Ring Nightreign... because they didn't use an ability properly during a boss fight. It's day 2 of a network test. There's been a few hours of potential playtime, max. We're cooked.

@GeminiJack11 Think a lot of it comes down to your tolerance for survival game jank. It's always a little rough in this genre, but the pros far outweight the cons for me (in the good ones). Hoping Dune turns out well, I can see myself having good fun with mates.

@DarthMicroT played this in early access last year and really enjoyed it, happy to hear it's kept improving.

Age of darkness is actually super fun. Highly recommend. They are billions style game but with co op. Found it on steam and been addicted lately.

@CaffeinatedDad1 Just something to keep in mind if you consider using that lens!

@CaffeinatedDad1 I will add the only downside to the lens is it has no zoom on it, with a fixed focal distance. So you have to physically distance the camera further away to get more in view. For example, my camera is a good ~7 ft away from me for the framing you see in my videos.
