Tropical Weather Outlook 23:00 UTC April 3 Cyclone Indusa reaches hurricane strength in the Indian Ocean, whilst two cyclone contenders are brewing in the South Pacific. Very high rainfall still anticipated for parts of Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.

Major rainfall impacts likely from Invest 90P in the Solomon Sea. Some locations in the easternmost islands of Papua New Guinea may receive over 1000mm of rainfall in the next five days, however, the forecast remains very uncertain.
