This is the most troublesome sign I've seen for Trump & the GOP. Trump's now a record low 41 pts underwater on the cost of living per Yahoo/YouGov. He's 60 pts underwater on the issue with indies!! Wave adios to the House & maybe Senate cause you can't win with these numbers.

There's no break in MAGA. Trump's approval with MAGA GOP is literally 100%. 90% of MAGA GOP approve of US military action in Iran. Those who disapprove of Trump are not MAGA at this point. Importantly: MAGA makes up the same share of voters as it did when Trump won in 2024.

The chickens are coming home to roost for Trump as he tries to get allies to help with Iran. Those in Canada, Japan & UK hate, hate, hate the U.S. military action in Iran. It's at least 27 pts underwater in all. This war is far less popular than the Iraq War in 2003 in all.

Trump isn't making an endorsement in TX Sen yet as he thinks both candidates are equally electable. He's right. Talarico is equally competitive vs. Cornyn & Paxton. Cornyn's net approval is way underwater. It's down from where it was six years with both the GOP & indies.

Trump & GOP have a big freaking problem! Milestone: Trump's net approval has now been underwater for a year. He has the worst net approval with indies at this pt in term 2 of any prez this century. The effect: Dems have a very real chance of winning the Senate, not just House.

Neither here nor there, but the highest turnout / most votes cast in a Texas Dem Senate primary was this year. Some people think it was 08 cause it occurred at the same time as the prez primary... but... There was massive drop-off downballot in 2008 from the prez race.

Noem was a political nightmare for Trump. Voters (58%) wanted her fired. Her net approval rating was underwater in every single poll taken during Trump's 2nd term. Moreover, Noem was dragging Trump down. His net approval on immigration has dropped over 20 pts since last year.

Trump's right: his endorsements are gold in GOP primaries. He's like a Ruth or Brady for the GOP. Most people he endorses wins, & even most challengers win vs. incumbents. No wonder: Trump has the highest own party approval of any 21st century prez at this point in term 2.

The word last night for Democrats in Texas: "Tremendous!" -Highest turnout ever for a Texas Dem Senate primary (more than 2x the average this century)! -More votes cast in a midterm TX Dem primary than GOP for the 1st time since 2002 -GOP side, meanwhile, is a dumpster fire

I consider it a privilege and honor to be able to have the job I do... Part of that is the people I work with... Both behind the scenes & on the camera. One reason that is was seen at the end of the 7pm, 8pm & 9pm hour programs tonight. For those that don't know, my Uncle passed away today. He was a far more talented person than I will ever be, though he certainly let me know that he was proud of my relatively small accomplishments. (I'm putting in the small.) Anyway, Erin & I are shared some kind words about him at the end of the 7 tonight. Anderson and then Kaitlan paid tribute at the end of their shows. Both mentioned my relationship to him. I didn't ask them to do any of this. They just did it. I received many texts & calls from many folks as well. When people ask me whether I enjoy my job... I answer some form "If you had told me 15 years ago that I'd be where I am today... I'd take it every time." I mean it every time I say it, and I mean it now.

Trump's not the only one who gets the vapors around Mamdani. Mamdani's net favorable rating is up to +48 pts in NYC (up from +14 in Sept). Mamdani's the most popular Dem statewide in NY too. GOP had wanted to run against Mamdani in the midterms, but they can't right now.

As Pennsylvania & Wisconsin go, so goes the nation... Right now, Democrats should be jumping for joy. Trump's well underwater in both states. Dems have a clear lead on the House ballot in Pennsylvania, which is highly suggestive of them taking back the House in the fall.

Mind blown about the early vote in Texas. TX Dems may outvote the GOP for the 1st time in a midterm primary since 2002! This indicates they're well on their way to having higher primary turnout nationally & since 06 the party w/ higher primary turnout won the House every time.

Another 1.4 inches of snow in Central Park this morning. A pleasant surprise. *Note: I am of the belief based on the other measurements around Central Park that the measurement for the blizzard was a little low. This though seems right.

Re: Newsom... It's a downright clown car/mess for the Dems ahead of 2028... No one is close to clearing 25% in early national polling for the first since the 1992 cycle. Newsom is flailing a bit after a hot summer, as interest in him on Google is down over 60% from August.

Visibility right here in central Manhattan is currently 0.15 miles, LOL! MAYBE! it might be 0.10. Some of the heaviest snow you'll see.

Frankly one of the worst performances I've seen out of the Euro model in a very long time. WOOF!
