Most people building in web3 have a project. I never liked this term. A project is temporary. Not meant to stay. Cronos Army is a product. A product that delivers value and proves: - that web3 games can work. - that small teams can beat big companies. - that transparency builds better products than secrecy ever could. Projects have deadlines and defined ends. Products evolve.

@rickyre_rr @CronosArmy212 Dev is providing updates and fixes almost daily. This makes this project outstanding, one of a kind. Such progress in just 6 months is incredible, unbelievable. And Ben is always open to feedback.

🚨 I've been playing @CronosArmy212 for almost 3 months. It's a play-to-earn game where territories pay hourly rewards. I tryharded like crazy, spent a lot of real money investing, and busted my ass to climb the ranks. After 3 months of heavy grinding I finally reached the best territories, the ones that paid the most. The veteran players were just parked there in super chill mode, doing nothing. I started attacking them and stealing some rewards… and after only a few days they changed the rules. Attacks and conquests used to be free to play. Now you have to burn credits to attack, and on top territories you need 2 credits. They also removed the 3-hour defensive cooldown, so if you attack (paying) they can instantly counter you, forcing you to play at a loss and waste credits nonstop. I believe this was done to protect the old veteran players. They have accounts full of credits, so now they can run endless attack-counterattack loops while new players or those without big reserves get completely fucked. It all started because an old user began cooldown abusing: abandoning and reconquering his territory to constantly reset the 3-hour defense and keep rewards active, making it impossible for me and others to actually conquer it.. and for them, the cooldown fix is to make the territories paid... giving them an even greater advantage. It looked like an amazing community, a real play-to-earn game accessible to everyone where you could grind and earn decent rewards. Instead, it became a pay-to-play game that only benefits the old stacked players with tons of $CA and credits. No new player can benefit from this update. I hope this is just a bad dream and that the dev comes back to his senses and restores the game to the original free to play attack & conquest system it was before. No new user would get any benefit from how it is now. As a first experience, I already suffered the loop attack, wasting about 15 game credits in 5 minutes. @rickyre_rr @CronosArmy212 We've already had various game mechanics, with and without cool down, territory sieges for credits and without... In the end - more interesting, more diverse, and easier for new players. As you see, with discipline and consistency, you are on the leaderboard, in the top 10.

@rickyre_rr @CronosArmy212 I disagree with your assertion that this was done for the benefit of veteran players. It was simply an update to prevent exploits. A quick response was needed, and it was implemented. This doesn't mean it's the final setup, just a step towards next update, next version.

Things are getting real. And slowly a whole new world unfolds. Ready to be explored. Ready to be conquered. Soon.

I don't do roadmaps with 47 milestones. I ship something. Listen to the community. Then ship the next thing. The roadmap is a conversation, not a document.
