In case you didn't know, you can setup additional Trade areas without needing to use the Pokémon Center in Pokopia!
Setup a "Working the Register" habitat and you'll be able to have a Pokémon with the Trade specialty operate it 🫡

Imagine a Pokemon game where you start in Kanto and travel through 6 regions, ending in Kalos. Kanto ->Johto -> Hoenn -> Sinnoh -> Unova -> Kalos After completing each region, you must lock in one Pokemon from that journey. By the time you reach Kalos, you’ll have 6 locked Pokemon… And that becomes your final battle team. Your entire adventure decides your champion squad. The final battle? Professor Oak - who became a professor after completing the Pokedex and catching every Pokemon from every region.

It’s so sad seeing the replies to this tweet and it’s full of complaints like not having a starter. For a franchise that supposedly lives off nostalgia baiting there’s something ironic about so many people not getting the reference. Praise Lord Helix.

@SaffronOlive Best theory I saw is that stores have to report Standard events and hit certain attendance thresholds to maintain WPN status. So there a ton of events that are actually Commander/etc. that get recorded as Standard, extra people get added to the event to make them larger, etc. .

Catching up on the weekly MTG stream about the bannings and according to Wizards local Standard play is up 200% in the past few years. I'm not sure how to make sense of this considering I mostly have people telling me how Standard doesn't fire at their LGS. Any ideas? Is there a thriving local Standard scene in your area? What am I missing here?

I hope this never happens, but looking at the Monopoly list, it seems like secret lairs featuring IRL companies, actors and athletes are a real possibility. They've got John Wayne Monopoly, Hollywood, Coca Cola, Snap-On and HP (yes, the companies), NASCAR, NBA, MLB and more.

I think the comparison between Magic and Fortnite is off. Magic's not going through Fortnitification, it's being Hasbro-ized. Did you know there are *at least* 700 versions of Monopoly and that every UB set released so far except for Final Fantasy already has a Monopoly edition?

Yet your apartment remains rented to rich people who don’t need it. Today, I am calling on you to move out immediately and give your affordable housing back to an unhoused family who need it. Leaders must show moral clarity. Time to move out.
