I have a legit phobia of amber hued lights, and "warm" lighting absolutely messes with my perception of color to the point of frustration. I can tolerate mild warm lighting but I vastly prefer white light or "daylight" hued lightbulbs because I do a lot of artwork in my home and need to see colors as they are. I accept I am broken in this but I blame living near one of the most depressing towns in ohio that lit their streets with amber light and it made everything feel liminal and not in a fun way.

@oldstocky I'm one of those psychos who vastly prefers the white lighting. It's better for viewing colors as they are

I would greatly appreciate some prayers right now. I really don't want to sound like I'm feeling sorry for myself, because I know that's wrong. But general depression and loneliness, plus the stress of finals coming up, has had me on sort of a despairing spiral lately.

I'm only 2 years into really being a furry and this is torture. The fandom should stay about the characters, the art, the stories, and the events. Not banging dudes in the ass. But that's sadly what the loudest turn it into every time.

@Derangeddoomer This is why I take commissions live on my livestream. I can get a full shaded picture done in an hour, I usually average 3 fully colored pictures a night. I don't like leaving people waiting for their art and this way they can usually watch it get done in real time c:

Furry commissions be like: "Yeah I'll get right back to you on updates." "Update... I have had major mental health issues" > 7 hours in game Minecraft > In vc every day > Starts drama with another artist for no reason > My commission didn't even make it to line art "Sorry things have been so tough lately"

You're a creator that has posted your work online for all to see and the immense pressure that puts on a person is insane. It's OKAY to snap at times. because what you're going though isn't exactly typical of the human experience. Your work and your vision are amazing and I have loved TADC from it's inception. Every episode builds off the last and narratively the characters work very well. I may never be as famous as you Goose but I know the struggle to create something with your heart and have that passion mocked and worse. It's rough. It's okay to have very human emotions about this. It's okay to feel your feelings. Hell it's okay to even feel those feelings in public. Yes people have the right to critique and criticize your work but you also have the right to feel your feelings however publicly or privately you care to and not feel guilty for it either. I don't talk much in this community, I am usually a very silent enjoyer of the media I consume. But from one creator to another. You're fine. I'm sorry you feel burnt out and I do hope you feel better. Much love Goose. keep being awesome <3

To clarify, this isn't really about criticism. You should be able to criticize the show without feeling guilty. I had a lot building up in my mind, combined with intense burnout and pressure to make the finale perfect. In the end, I'm the one who snapped, so I should reflect.

Sorry for the breakdown earlier. Honestly I haven't been behaving very professionally on social media, so I think I need to step back from it and reevaluate my priorities.

My great uncle had an apple orchard, most of my childhood I had apples from there. And when we didn't I usually had my mother get macinthosh apples from the store. but the apples on the orchard were great. and in ohio I don't remember having an apple I -hated- However when I moved to other places and had to rely exclusively on big chain grocery stores for produce my desire to eat Red delicious tanked entirely. Macintosh has always been my favorite, closely followed by Granny smith.

@littletales @JadeAtrophis it USED TO BE OKAY but in the last decade or so it's become a bland mealy shadow of it's former glory and no longer deserves the title. what this poor apple has become is the Red Deceiver and should be named as such. Heirloom varieties still exist which do taste better.

Since no one is seeing my posts anyway. Confession: On my worst days I turn on Avatar or The Hobbit and pretend Im in The Shire or on Pandora.

Also this is where I get to endorse Moho. Even though I've yet to use it personally, I do own it, I've seen some amazing things done with it. It plays nice with Blender, And they're running a nice sale on it right now. AND best of all NO SUBSCRIPTION! ONE TIME PURCHASE!

I promise you that even though Disney and Netflix are a big reason for why they walked back the decision, neither of those two powerhouses are going to sit on their laurels and let themselves get screwed over. They'll start diversifying their in house too if they're smart.

RE: Adobe Animate. 1. I'm glad they listened and walked back their plans to discontinue it. 2. if you think this is the end of this it absolutely is not. If you had any trust left in adobe it should have been shattered these past few days. Start learning to use other programs.
