@DOMOCAPITAL $ZD and $ALTO getting wrecked after their earnings calls, big bummer

Loving this $ZD earnings call!!! Sounds like we should be expecting additional sales of business segments worth more than existing market cap (just as they did shortly after Q1 earnings).

It is common place for political opponents to hold onto incriminating information they find out about their opponents only to leak it at an opportune time to help beat their opponent in an election or push a political agenda. Who’s to say media doesn’t do the same thing (hold information until perfect time) in order to justify or explain away something else which may have no relation to the story itself? $GME

Corn basis craters while ethanol shoots to $2.05. May crush margin over 42 cents with corn oil at insane levels while natural gas keeps falling. Unbelievable. Ethanol companies are literally printing money every day even if stock prices aren't reflecting it. $ALTO $GPRE

$SPY is cooked. Been selling off for the last week even with increase in price. Price action starting to follow.

This headline is the story of alt season.

Some thoughts this morning: Have these small cap volatility rotations been going on since before 2021? Is it a new phenomenon since $GME? Observations: 1) a bunch of small cap stocks get extremely volatile around the same time 2) the volatility events seem to happen periodically 3) the basket of stocks which gets volatile changes each time. Some of the sam stocks remain, but many change out and we don’t know which ones will get volatile. 4) most/all of these stocks drop down much lower than before the pump very rapidly and many go bankrupt/delist quickly. 5) people just calls it “alt season” 6) the stocks that pump do so independently l, meaning their 1-minute charts looks independent from each other, but their daily charts look very similar, but maybe shifted by a day or 2 either way. Is it meant to be a volatility swap play? Is it meant to be a pump and dump play? Is it actually just “alt season”? Is it legacy swaps getting reset or rebalanced? Most of these stocks pump at the same time and most have very little coverage, leading me to think it is NOT a pump and dump. If Wall Street wanted to make the most money from retail fomo, it wouldn’t happen. Is it “alt season” then? If yes, what causes alt season? Retail doesn’t randomly get bullish altogether and start pumping unknown stocks in unison. Why would Wall Street if the stock are going to crash down within days or up to 2 weeks? Is it legacy swaps getting reset? Why is the basket composition different each time then? Volatility swaps are the only thing that makes sense to me right now, but why does it need to keep happening on a schedule? Why do all the stocks need to get bankrupted/delisted/sustain decline afterwards? Do these plays require the stocks to delist and go to 0 because of how the volatility swap works? If they are small caps or illiquid, I’m assuming that the amount of shares sold short at the top of the volatile ‘needle top’ is too large in number to close out so delisting is the only lucrative option.

The recent market pump has been the most rapid and bullish run in history. It comes after no change in policy, rates, narrative, macroeconomic stability, or even narrative. It’s simply how large players positioned themselves and shows that market is run strictly on liquidity. The back and forth open/close of the strait without tankers actually moving means nothing got better since the low. They couldn’t even find a narrative to justify it this time. …And it is the sharpest, strongest market reversal in history…

Huge 5 cent jump in "May" crush margin today as corn basis (cost to get corn delivered) fell off a cliff while May ethanol rallied... Now May crush margin is also ~$0.40 to match April! $ALTO

The harsh reality I don't believe the market understands yet is that the United States is likely negotiating with someone that has zero control over the army. There can be no ceasefire, because the US isn't negotiating with anyone that has the power to provide one. My opinion...

And then we filed a 13G showing >7% ownership (5,420,069 shares) in an ethanol company that was trading in the $1s which is now $4+? Yiles! Awful! 🤣

Looks like accurate reporting from Grok. Wow, riding $GME from $3/$4 (and writing numerous articles trying to explain the setup to people) to $40+... how stupid... would sure love to be that horrible of an investor every year! 🤣 Wonder what it means for shares now that we are bullish again and once again hold a material position in the shares? 🤔
